We thought we’d create something that was heavy duty on one of the driest areas of the body – we designed this Elbow Balm to ‘fix’ the issue, once and for all and have included the following ingredients
Wheatgerm oil easily penetrates the skin, leaving it feeling moisturised as well as caring for skin that has been damaged by things such as, irritation, dryness and itching. Due to the high content of vitamin E and linoleic acid, wheatgerm oil helps to protect and restore the skin’s natural barrier protecting it from damage induced by the outside world.
Cocoa Butter has often been recommended for treatment of skin conditions such as eczema and dermatitis. Cocoa butter, when applied topically, creates a barrier between sensitive skin and the environment and helps retain needed moisture. In addition, cocoa butter contains cocoa mass polyphenol (CMP), a substance that inhibits the production of the immuno globulin IgE. IgE is known to aggravate symptoms of both dermatitis and eczema.
Kukui Nut oil is an excellent penetrating oil, which when spread onto the skin, softens it and soothes sunburns and irritations. It is proven to be very effective in the treatment of superficial burns, chapped skin and other mild skin ailments.
In addition, we’ve used beeswax to help stiffen the balm and kept this recipe as simple as possible
We’ve left out any essential oils or fragrances on this product so this product is free from allergens.
